Beatrice

Beatrice grew up in Arusha. She lives with her mother and grandmother and has one brother. Her father passed away in a car accident when she was seven. Her mother does not work, and the family is supported by her aunt.

Before joining Umoja, Beatrice completed Form Three of secondary school, but she had to stop because of lack of money. After being selected to join our programme, Beatrice successfully completed her Foundation Year and then went on to complete Form 4 at Moringe Secondary School and A-Level education at Babati Secondary.

With the support of The Umoja Centre, Beatrice is looking forward to joining university.
