Umoja Tanzania is proud to be a responsible and fair employer.

Umoja pays all employees a competitive wage in line with their respective work experience and qualifications. We contribute fully to the pension funds of all employees (through PPF and NSSF), and provide full-time employees with other appropriate benefits such as paid holiday leave. Additionally, each full-time employee works under an employment contract based on Tanzanian labour law to ensure they both understand and are able to exercise their rights as employees. All of our interns and the majority of our local volunteers are paid a stipend to assist with travel and other expenses.
