Umoja International

Umoja Tanzania is supported by kind and generous people around the world, who donate financially and/or give their time, enabling us to empower Tanzanian youth. Internationally we have organisational partnerships with two entities - in the UK we are partnered with registered charity Umoja UK and Global Development Group in Australia.

Umoja UK

Umoja Tanzania is partnered with Umoja UK, who offer fundraising and other support. 100% of funds raised are used to support Umoja's work in Tanzania and all board members give their time voluntarily. Umoja UK is a Registered Charity (1136792)

This means that Umoja UK is tax exempt and eligible for the Gift Aid scheme. A Gift Aid declaration is a statement by a UK taxpayer asking for their donations to be treated as Gift Aid payments, so that the tax they have paid on the amount donated can be claimed back by the charity receiving the donation. Read More
