Abida first joined Umoja in 2015 as a volunteer through Accountants for International Development, after which she extended her trip and stayed with us for 6 months. In January 2017, Abida returned to Umoja in a full time position focusing on the mentoring and training of staff and assisting with the development of various programmes, including work with Yes! Tanzania.
"I am extremely happy to be working with Umoja because Umoja support what I believe matters the most - a chance to empower others less fortunate. I believe that everyone has the potential, they just need support to unlock that potential!"
