In 2016 Umoja purchased an area of land to create a purpose built youth development and education centre. We also welcomed several new faces to our team...
In 2015 we decided to merge together with the House of Happiness Children's Home. Umoja focused on capacity building with First Aid Training, professional courses for staff and mentoring volunteers.
2014 was a year of new and strengthened partnerships, including the Segal Family Foundation and Yes! Tanzania. We also received support from the Australian High Commission in Nairobi.
In 2013, Umoja and our wonderful supporters helped one of our young students receive life changing surgery in Kenya. More of our fantastic students graduated from college and moved into employment. Well done all!
