In Australia, Umoja is supported by a dedicated group of individuals who give their time to assist with fundraising. In New South Wales this team is led by Ros Tomlinson and in Queensland by Vari Galletly. Umoja Tanzania is partnered with Global Development Group to ensure the project is carried out to Australian government requirements.

Umoja Tanzania, Inc. is proud to be a partner for Project J602 The Umoja Centre with Global Development Group (GDG)*, a Non Government Organisation carrying out quality humanitarian aid and development projects with approved partners. Tax deductible receipts for gifts over $2 with a preference for this project will be issued by GDG*. If funds raised exceed the requirements for this project, the funds may be directed to a similar project.

*GDG (ABN 57 102 400 993), as an Australian DFAT approved NGO takes responsibility of the project according to DFAT rules – providing a governance role and assisting in the areas of planning, monitoring, evaluating and auditing to ensure the project is carried out to Australian requirements.
